Dedicated donations:

  • For animal care programs
  • For companionship support
  • Scholarship program
  • Research stipend
  • Artist residency
  • Library development
  • Place to Paws building fund
  • ElderDog residency fund

Place to Paws Building Fund:

  • For a minimum donation of $10.00 receive an embroidered Place to Paws patch designed by graphic artist, Bronwen Moore. Click on "Other Amount" and direct your donation to Place to Paws;
  • For a minimum donation of $15.00 receive a set of 5 blank greeting cards created exclusively for ElderDog by a Nova Scotia artist. Click on "Other Amount" and direct your donation to Place to Paws;

Butterfly Release

  • To purchase a butterfly for release at our annual butterfly release in August  in memory of a beloved companion canine, click on "Other Amount" and enter $15.00 for a single butterfly, $25.00 for a butterfly and greeting cards, or $50.00 for a business donation. Be sure to include contact information and name of dog(s) being remembered.

In-kind donations:

  • For animal care programs (e.g., new or lightly used canine equipment of various kinds)
  • For companionship support (dog food for emergency purposes)
  • Library (dog books of any kind in good condition)
  • Office, retail, or storage space in communities where needed
  • Artworks (for fundraising or to install at an ElderDog facility)
  • Building materials for Place to Paws

For in-kind donations, contact us to arrange pick-up or delivery.

Special events donations:

Turn your next special occasion or get-together at home or office into an ElderDog fundraiser. Instead of a host/ess gift suggest that guests bring a donation to ElderDog Canada or pass a hat (or dog bowl) at some point during the event to collect contributions. Contact us to let us know how we can help to plan your ElderDog “Pawdy.”
