Aging Dogs, Aging People

Honouring and preserving the
animal-human bond

ElderDog Canada Inc. is a national, community-based, non-profit organization with a mission to:

  • Assist and support older adults in the care and well-being of their canine companions
  • Provide care and companionship for older dogs whose lives have been disrupted due to illness, relocation or death of a human companion
  • Educate about the human-animal bond in general and the significant role of companion animals in the health and well-being of seniors
  • Honour life and loss of canine companions through consolation and commemoration

ElderDog continues its fund raising campaign to build our commemoration site, Place to Paws. At our second Annual Jubilee and Butterfly Release in August, we revealed the plans for Place to Paws. We plan to excavate this Fall and, pending sufficient funds, start construction in the Spring. Find out more about Place to Paws and how you can help.
